Many working parents greet Monday morning with a sigh of relief. Whether you're running around after toddlers or shuttling school-age kids to orchestra practice, soccer games, and birthday parties, the weekend can be exhausting.
That goes double for me, after spending five days on vacation. Translation: four people sharing a tiny hotel room and mama pushing the double stroller up and down endless San Francisco hills. I feel no guilt saying that I'm looking forward to a quiet moment at my desk tomorrow morning.
