Last week, a stay-at-home mom asked me how to find part-time work that pays well. It’s a burning question for working moms who want to cut back, as well as at-home moms ready to reenter the work force. Or for folks looking to supplement the family income in this tough economy. Where are the good, flexible jobs?
Ideally, you should negotiate flexible hours with your current employer, or take on freelance projects from someone you’ve worked for in the past. But if you’re starting from scratch, you can look for part-time jobs through a number of agencies and job boards that specialize in flexible work.
