Michelle Obama -- a Working Mom Vying to Be First Lady

So, who saw Michelle Obama’s speech at the Democratic National Convention last night? I collapsed as soon as the kids were asleep, and I am bummed that I missed it. I plan to check out her remarks later, perhaps over my lunch hour. Does anyone else find the only place you can think clearly is the office?

I must say that both Michelle Obama and Cindy McCain are remarkably accomplished women -- as well as gorgeous and stylish. I’m sure they each get more done before 10 a.m. than I do all day. But there’s something about having to get up every day and earn a living, as Michelle Obama has, that every working mom can identify with.
