With unemployment at a 14-year high, we all should be keeping our skills fresh and our career networks active. An excellent place to start is About.com Job Searching, written by Guide Alison Doyle.

You can find sample cover letters and resumes, applications, job site reviews, advice and support during your job hunt. If you're happily employed, you'll still find useful information about networking and career building.

I've never made another site on the About.com network the Site of the Week, and I may never do so again. (I love all the other Parenting sites so much that I'd be hard pressed to recommend one over the other.) Alison's site is especially relevant to working moms in this economic climate. You never know when layoffs may strike.

Are you job hunting? Please share your stories in the comments section or working moms forum.
