SOTW: Michelle Obama, Modern Mama
I have inauguration fever. There's no other way to say it. I know as a journalist I'm supposed to be cool and above-it-all, but I just can't wait until inauguration day. As a bi-racial little girl growing up in a mostly white suburb, I never thought I'd see a family as racially diverse as mine living in the White House. So I can't get enough of the Obama family, especially the three girls. (No offense, Barack.)
That's why I was thrilled to hear that Mommy Track'd has launched a site devoted to Michelle Obama, Modern Mama. It keeps tabs on news about our future first lady and links to articles and photos, like the Chicago Tribune's pictorial series on Sasha and Malia's first day of school in D.C.
