Learn to Make a Holiday Mask Craft

Children love to dress up and pretend. They can make their own disguises with this holiday mask craft. It's fun and easy for kids to make a holiday mask craft – even with a parent who is not crafty. Create a Santa Claus, Easter bunny or scary Halloween ghost holiday mask craft.
Difficulty: Easy
Time Required: 10 to 20 minutes

Here's How:

  1. Punch a small a hole on each side of the paper plate.
  2. Tie the string through the holes on each side of the mask so the child will be able to affix the holiday mask to his or her face.
  3. Use the hole puncher to make cut outs for eyes on the bottom of the mask.
  4. Draw or use construction paper to create the nose and mouth of the character.
  5. Glue the face onto the bottom of the paper plate.
  6. Once it dries, the kids have a fun homemade mask!

Tips:

  1. To create a beard on a Santa Claus mask, glue cotton balls around the bottom of the face.
